Soloh Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a local contract nursing job in New York, New York. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Local Contract Position: RN - Cardiac Cath Lab Type: Contract Location: New York, NY Pay Rate: $84/hr Schedule: 9am-9:30pm - Rotating weekends is a requirement and workers must report as scheduled including holidays Duties: - Conduct thorough nursing assessments of patients, including medical history, current condition, vital signs, allergies (especially to contrast dye), and any concerns. - Provide comprehensive education to patients and their families about the procedure, what to expect, potential risks, and post-procedure care. - Prepare the patient for the procedure, which may include shaving and sterilizing the catheter insertion site. - Insert IV lines for medication and fluid administration. Requirements: - 2 years of critical care experience IV insertion and phlebotomy skill conscious sedation experience - At least 2 years of experience in an Acute setting required - Critical Care & Cardiac Cath Lab experience required - Required: New York State RN License, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS Soloh Partners Job ID L30379609.
