SUMMARYLeads and manages the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives. The Controller leads all day-to-day accounting operations and supervises the Accounting Team staff members including functional responsibility over accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.You will maximize return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems.Reporting to the chief financial officer (CFO) the Controller will partner with other department leaders and be involved in supporting financial presentations to the senior leadership team.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESLead the daily operations of the departmentMaintains a documented system of accounting policies and proceduresOptimizing the use of our ERP system to support the organizational goals of the company, while efficiently producing reportingQuarterbacks monthly close within 10-day time frame. Validation and approval of all Accruals, GL entries, Payroll Entries, P Results to budget and prior year.Manages the in-depth analysis, trending, and review of spend.
