Job Description Job Description /n /n Oversee and coordinate
daily pathology accessioning and gross room operations, supervising
a team of technical staff. Ensure efficient workflow, maintain high
quality standards, uphold regulatory compliance, and mentor staff
development. Lead process improvements, manage discrepancies, and
contribute to a positive and productive work environment. /n Job
Responsibility /n /n Provides day-to-day leadership and guidance to
pathology staff, ensuring effective communication and achievement
of department objectives. Oversees technical aspects of pathology
workflow, implementing process improvements and resolving
operational issues. Monitors quality assurance metrics,
investigates discrepancies, and implements corrective and
preventative actions. Ensures compliance with regulatory
requirements and maintains a safe laboratory environment.
Collaborates with senior professionals to develop and refine
methods, techniques, and analytical approaches. Supervises, trains,
and evaluates staff performance, fostering professional growth and
development. Manages equipment maintenance and troubleshooting,
ensuring optimal functionality. Performs related duties as

required, or equivalent combination of education and related
experience. /n - Current License to practice as a Pathologists'
Assistant, Cytotechnologist, or Histotechnologist required, plus
specialized certifications as needed. /n - 4-6 years of relevant
experience and 0-2 years of leadership / management experience,
required. /n - Histology background & Experience Preferred. /n /n
