Job Description Job Description The Accounts Receivable Cash
Application Specialist ensures the timely and accurate posting of
customer payments to accounts, supporting overall cash flow, and
maintaining healthy customer relationships. The ideal candidate
will bring strong analytical skills, a high level of accuracy, and
the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES
AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Apply incoming payments (checks, ACH, wire
transfers) to customer accounts accurately and efficiently. •
Research and resolve unapplied cash, short payments, and
discrepancies • Collaborate with collections and customer service
teams to ensure correct payments • Reconcile daily bank deposits
and maintain documentation for audit and compliance purposes •
Communicate with customers regarding payment remittance details, if
necessary • Assist in month-end close activities related to cash
applications. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company systems
and cash application processes KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
REQUIRED • High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced
coursework and/or degree in business or accounting preferred • Two
to three years of accounts receivable or cash application • Strong
Excel and data entry skills • Excellent problem-solving and
communication abilities • Ability to work independently and
collaboratively SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES • This position has no

This position works indoors in a temperature-controlled

environment with adequate lighting and low noise levels. • This
position is full-time which consists of a standard work week of 40
hours. Overtime may be occasionally required based upon staffing
