Job Description:
What will you be doing? Barclays Services Corp. seeks Software
Developer AVP in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions available):
Develop and maintain frameworks for management, monitoring, data
governance, control checks, and data presentation of a centralized
DataStore with large data volumes, designed for Product Controller
(PC) and Financial Controller (FC) users. Maintain and enhance
applications to ensure up-to-date monitoring and large data
visualization capabilities. Maintain and train the Generative AI
model for applications, ensuring it is regularly retrained to
comply with Barclays internal policies and standards. Maintain the
P&L system stability and enhancements and IPV (Independent
Price Verification) systems. Management Information (MI) reporting
to senior management. Adjustment and Provisioning functionality.
Work with the Release Management team for the Automated Releases
Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by
using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and
tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized
for performance. Responsible for ensuring the availability and
scalable processes for PnL distribution in Product Control. May
telecommute. Minimum Salary: $160,805 per year Maximum Salary:
$175,000 per year The minimum and maximum salary/rate information
above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not
include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be

an incentive award. Purpose of the role To design, develop and
improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that
provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our
customers and colleagues. Accountabilities Development and delivery
of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned
programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is
scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers,
and other engineers to define software requirements, devise
solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment
with business objectives. Collaboration with peers, participate in
code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge
sharing. Stay informed of industry technology trends and
innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s
technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence
and growth. Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate
vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software
solutions.Implementation of effective unit testing practices to
ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability. Assistant
