Job Description Job Description Benefits: Flexible schedule Health insurance Opportunity for advancement Summary: Our Lead Instructor & Front Desk Supervisor is a keyholder position responsible for delivering high-quality swim instruction, supervising daily operations, supporting staff, and providing excellent customer service. This role ensures smooth facility operations, safety compliance, and a positive experience for students and families. Key Responsibilities: Swim Instruction Provide safe, engaging, and effective swim lessons to students of various ages and skill levels Follow established curriculum and adapt lessons to individual student needs Maintain a safe learning environment and enforce pool safety rules Supervision & Leadership Serve as a keyholder responsible for opening and closing the facility Supervise swim instructors and front desk staff during assigned shifts Ensure staff follow policies, procedures, and safety standards Front Desk & Customer Service Greet and assist families with scheduling, registration, payments, and general inquiries Handle phone calls, emails, and in-person communication professionally Resolve customer concerns promptly and positively Operations & Safety Monitor pool safety and respond to emergencies according to training Ensure cleanliness and organization of the facility Communicate maintenance or operational issues to management Qualifications : Prior experience in swim instruction, aquatics, or recreation preferred Leadership or supervisory experience a plus Strong communication and customer service skills CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to enter the pool and demonstrate swimming techniques Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
