Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years
Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity is for a
Behavior Specialist skilled in Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
services, working with elementary school students. The position is
contract-based for the current school year (CSY), located in
Waterbury, CT. Candidates with prior school experience and a strong
background in behavior intervention will find this role rewarding
and impactful. Key Responsibilities: - Implement individualized
behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on data-driven
assessments. - Provide direct support to students with behavioral
challenges within an elementary school environment. - Collaborate
with educators, therapists, and families to ensure consistent
behavioral support. - Collect, analyze, and document behavioral
data to monitor student progress. - Support the inclusion of
students in general education settings by promoting positive
behaviors. Qualifications and Experience: - Registered Behavior
Technician (RBT) certification is required. - Proven experience
working as an RBT within a school setting. - Strong understanding
of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques. -
Ability to manage multiple students' caseloads effectively in an
elementary school context. - Excellent communication and teamwork
skills. Position Details: - Location: Waterbury, Connecticut -
Contract duration: School Year (CSY), concluding June 2026 -
Full-Time: Approximately 32.5 to 35 hours per week - Elementary
school caseload This contract provides an excellent platform to
contribute to the academic and behavioral success of young learners
