Suburban Propane, a leader in fuel delivery and energy services across the nation, is seeking a dynamic Engineering Manager to lead our engineering initiatives within the Energy sector. As an Engineering Manager at Suburban Propane, you will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team that supports residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural customers. Your focus will be on optimizing our service delivery and ensuring the sustainability and efficiency of our operations. Lead and manage the engineering team to ensure efficient project delivery and operational support. Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of systems and procedures in alignment with energy regulations and company goals. Collaborate with other department managers to align engineering activities with business objectives. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, and maintain safety protocols throughout all engineering practices. Drive innovation in energy solutions to enhance service reliability and cost-effectiveness. Manage budgets, forecast resource requirements and lead strategic planning efforts for the engineering department. Strong leadership and team management skills Expert knowledge in fuel delivery systems and energy service technologies Ability in project management and process optimization Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills Proficient in compliance and safety management Strong interpersonal and communication skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision insurance Life Insurance 401k PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred PE (Professional Engineer) license beneficial
