Job Description Job Description Benefits: Service call based position Recurring business Contracting Contracting Position (Pay is per service call) West Philadelphia, PA 19104 & North Philadelphia, PA 19140 Benefits/Perks Recurring business Close proximity to other service call locations Competitive Compensation Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to perform service calls on gas forced air heating & central air conditioning. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, diagnosing, & installing heating and air conditioning systems in residential homes in Philadelphia. You have past experience in an HVAC service technician role and hold an EPA certification to order & install refrigerant. A team player who is comfortable working independently, you take pride in thoroughly completing customer jobs with efficiency. Responsibilities: Reasonable turnaround timing for HVAC repair requests Repair or service heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to improve efficiency, such as by changing filters, cleaning ducts, or refilling non-toxic refrigerants Establish customer rapport to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction Test pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks, using a pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution Test electrical circuits or components for continuity, using electrical test equipment Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring Order and installing refrigerant with an EPA certification Qualifications: Past experience as an HVAC service technician or comparable education Valid Drivers License EPA Certification Prior experience with gas forced air heating & central air conditioning Ability to climb ladders and handle moving furnaces
