Job Description Job Description Description: Job Overview We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our maintenance team in a dynamic manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial maintenance and mechanics, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various equipment and systems. This role requires proficiency in both electrical and mechanical systems. The Maintenance Mechanic will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our production processes. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and electrical components. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities and inventory management. Troubleshoot and repair programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automated systems. Conduct inspections using precision measuring instruments such as multimeters to ensure equipment functionality. Execute welding tasks, including mig welding, to repair or fabricate components as needed. Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues effectively. Collaborate with technical sales teams to provide insights on equipment performance and customer service needs. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols while operating scissor lifts and other machinery. Snow removal services, including operation of company vehicle when needed. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum of 2 years proven experience as an industrial mechanic or similar role within a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance practices. Familiarity with electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications. Ability to analyze problems effectively and implement solutions promptly. Excellent communication skills in English; ability to work collaboratively within a team setting. Must possess the ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet production demands.
