Job Description:

WestRock, a global leader in paper and packaging solutions, seeks a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. This role is instrumental in maintaining the operational efficiency of our production equipment, thereby ensuring optimal output and quality. Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly. Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment in order to diagnose machine malfunctions. Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings. Dismantle defective machines for repair, using hand tools. Install and adjust new or repaired equipment. Manage maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed. Document maintenance and repair work performed. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to read technical manuals and drawings. Experience with predictive and preventative maintenance procedures. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT) is a plus. OSHA Safety Certification.
