About the Role:

As a CBRE Sr Occupancy Planning Manager, you will manage the team responsible for providing space planning, data mining, reporting, and interpretation of metrics for client needs.

This job is part of the Moves, Additions and Changes function. They are responsible for building space design, construction, and moving services.

The position will work a hybrid schedule onsite 3 times a week, and at business need.

What You'll Do:

• Utilize Excel to analyze and interpret large datasets related to office space, utilization, headcount, and market trends
• Conduct supply and demand planning to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in office space utilization
• Collaborate with occupancy planners and cross-functional teams to implement occupancy strategies and high office space efficiencies
• Develop and maintain positive key client relationships. Conduct meetings on escalated unresolved facility issues.
• Create and recommend strategic occupancy objectives for clients.
• Apply a broad knowledge of the business, own discipline, and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence others to adopt a different point of view while being guided by policies and departmental plans.
• Identify and solve technical and operational problems of complexity.
• Understand and recognize the broader impact across the department.
• Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within the job discipline.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Strong understanding of supply and demand planning principles and concepts
  • Ability to collect, analyze and interpret large data sets to inform business decisions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and strategically
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects at a time
  • Excellent communication and collaboration, with ability to present complex data insights to stakeholders
  • Experience in the areas of training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
  • Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiple job disciplines, and department.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc. Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, modeling and visualization.
  • Extensive organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
  • Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

    CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sr Occupancy Planning Manager position is $140,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Sr Occupancy Planning Manager position is $150,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
