Nurse Manager Location: Serenity at Summit New Jersey (Union, NJ)Salary: $75,000-$85,000Schedule: TBD**Please be advised we are looking for a RN to fill this role. Please see the requirements for the position below.Position Purpose:To provide compassionate care to individuals suffering from addiction and/or mental healthissues. The Director of Nursing will oversee and supervise a Nursing Department that adheresnursing care that engenders a sense of trust and respect for the profession. The Nurse Managerwill provide oversight and supervision to RN's and LPN's.Nurse Manager Duties

• Schedule (edits), master nurse schedule
• Call outs
• Coverage, helping out on the floor admission chart audits
• Infection control report (pts on ABX & COVID)
• New nurse binder and training
• Oversee fridge temp log, crash cart log, glucometer logs
• Quarterly pharmacy visits -ensure meds are not expired, crash carts are clean
• 90 day evaluations and help with annual reviews
• Monthly Supervisions/ meetings
• Track Buprenorphine invoices
• Monthly inventory
• Ordering supplies and controlled substances
• (procurement)
• Quest supplies
• On call (every 5 weeks)- AOC
• BHT schedule, Driver schedule- manage
• Transportation when on call
• COVID Tracking (patient/staff)
• Ongoing Interviews
• Flu shot tracking (seasonal)
• CSS med room key, locked box -0505
• Monthly Hand washing Monitoring
• Monthly Med pass observation
• Medication destruction
• Sharps disposal
• Maintain PPE stock
  
  Requirements:
  Education:
  • Completion of Registered Nursing program and valid/current NJ RN license.
  • Licensure/Certification: Unrestricted license from the New Jersey Board of NursingExperience:
    • 2-3 years previous Nursing experience in a substance abuse and psychiatric treatment setting.
    • CPR and Standard First Aid certification. Current BLS
