Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiology - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 08/11/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel talent 4health job id 36205789 Duties: Job Summary: A Registered Nurse at Hackensack Meridian Health involves the delivery of nursing practices according to the most up-to-date evidence-based research, nursing policies, and standards of care, to provide and ensure safe and excellent delivery of individualized patient care. A day in the life of a Registered Nurse includes: Assessment, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation Assessment. Nurses will cover CAT Scan, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine/Pet. Essential Duties: -The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. -Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient’s needs. -Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. -Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments. -Initiates assessment based on the patient’s problems or needs, the physician’s medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework. -Performs therapeutic nursing interventions. -Manages care of patients. -Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities. -Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery. -Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model. -Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or the situation. -Performs age and disease specific assessment / data collection independently in a systematic manner focusing on physiologic, psychological and cognitive status. -Recognizes clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. -Identifies variables in patient/family education needs based on age, disease, and culturally specific learning differences. -Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Skills: Required Skills & Experience: -Must have a minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience in an acute care facility. Preferred Skills & Experience: -N/A Education: Required Education: -ASN. Preferred Education: -BSN.
