Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 02/09/2026 Duration: 8 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Neuro, Robotics, Ortho Schedule This position requires a schedule of 7 AM to 8 PM, with shifts spanning 12 hours. Job Description The Registered Nurse will deliver high-quality patient care across the spectrum of growth and development, from pediatric to geriatric populations. This role involves thorough assessments, documentation, and providing competent clinical skills while adhering to established policies and procedures. Responsibilities Conduct systematic, comprehensive, and accurate patient assessments. Perform direct patient care activities while collaborating within a healthcare team. Maintain complete and accurate documentation of patient care in accordance with guidelines. Demonstrate professionalism and knowledge of clinical policies and areas for growth. Respond to patients, families, and coworkers in a courteous and professional manner, promoting a patient-centered environment. Ensure compliance with National Patient Safety Goals and implement safe transfer techniques. Individualize patient care based on surgical procedures and assess patient reactions. Be accountable for prioritizing patient care based on individual needs and conditions. Evaluate and educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures and post-operative care. Support timely completion of patient testing and pre-admission evaluations. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1 year of experience in Neuro, Robotics, and Ortho nursing. BLS certification is required. Current RN License is required. CNOR certification is preferred. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
