Schedule PM Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM Job Description The Registered Nurse in Perioperative Care is responsible for delivering competent patient care across the continuum from pre-operative to post-operative phases. The RN must demonstrate comprehensive assessment skills, proficient clinical abilities, and adherence to documentation and safety standards while ensuring patient satisfaction and professional integrity. Responsibilities Conduct systematic and comprehensive patient assessments. Provide direct patient care and demonstrate clinical skills within the nursing team. Maintain accurate documentation of nursing processes and patient progress. Exhibit professionalism and compliance with healthcare policies and procedures. Enhance patient satisfaction through positive and respectful communication. Adhere to National Patient Safety Goals and utilize safe transfer techniques. Individualize care based on patient needs and surgical procedures. Assume responsibility for patient care and timely prioritization based on changing conditions. Engage patients and families in education processes regarding surgical procedures. Support pre-admission testing and evaluate orders for appropriateness. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 1 year of experience in a nursing role. BLS certification - Required. Active RN license - Required.
