Job Description Job Description Registered Nurse - ICU - PRN Overview: This role is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on a PRN (as-needed) basis at our facility. The nurse will deliver patient care, collaborate with various departments, and uphold patient confidentiality while thriving in a high-pressure environment. Essential qualifications include a valid nursing license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and the capability to handle physically demanding tasks. Discover your purpose with us! As a member of our ICU/TCU team, you will operate in a vibrant, fast-paced 19-bed unit, which includes a 13-bed Intensive Care Unit and a 6-bed Transitional Care Unit (step-down). Our strong focus on interdisciplinary collaboration and dedication to exceptional patient care creates an ideal setting for both seasoned nurses and new graduates. Licensure: Active RN license in the state of practice or a compact license, meeting all state board requirements. Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required within 30 days of hire. ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – Required. Additional unit-specific certifications as necessary. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
