Job Description Job Description Minimum 1 years Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist experience and ARRT certification required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity invites experienced Interventional Radiology Technologists to support complex diagnostic and therapeutic vascular and neuro-interventional procedures. The role involves close collaboration with specialty proceduralists, operating advanced fluoroscopic imaging systems, and ensuring precise retrieval and circulation of interventional devices in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist proceduralists during complex vascular and neuro-interventional cases by scrubbing and actively supporting interventions Operate floor- and ceiling-mounted fluoroscopic imaging systems with expertise Identify, retrieve, and circulate intricate devices and products throughout cases Utilize critical thinking skills for neuro-interventional and complex procedural assistance Manage power injection of iodinated contrast media during diagnostic and interventional imaging Maintain sterile technique and rigorous infection prevention when preparing procedural trays Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team including nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons Document procedures in electronic medical records and transmit images to PACS/Sectra systems Provide post-intervention groin management and patient care Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid NJ state radiographic licensure with ARRT certification 3-5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist with radiographic licensure Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from an accredited provider Strong communication skills with proficiency in closed loop communication Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced clinical settings Location:Based in Paterson, New Jersey, this city offers a diverse urban setting rich in cultural heritage and convenient access to major metropolitan areas.
