Job Description:

Tender Touch Rehab Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing team. Our mission is to deliver personalized rehabilitation therapy services in a compassionate environment. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of our physical therapists to help patients regain mobility and manage pain, following individualized treatment plans in facilities such as hospitals, nursing homes, and private clinics. Assist physical therapists in the implementation of patient treatment plans. Perform therapeutic procedures and exercises under the guidance of a licensed therapist. Record patient response to therapy and communicate results and observations to the supervising therapist. Help patients use necessary devices such as walkers and wheelchairs effectively. Maintain a safe and clean therapy environment by complying with facility procedures, rules, and regulations. Ensure operation of physical therapy equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; calling for repairs if necessary. Educate and encourage patients as they develop and improve their skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency in following complex written and oral instructions. Basic understanding of computer software for documenting patient records. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Physical Therapist Assistant state license. CPR/BLS certification is recommended.
