Job Description:
Laurel Manor Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team of healthcare
professionals. Our facility is renowned for its exceptional patient
care that includes skilled nursing, comprehensive rehabilitation
services, and long-term care. In this role, the CNA will work
closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality
services tailored to meet the needs of our diverse patient
population. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach, and
a strong commitment to enhancing patient quality of life in a
supportive and well-equipped medical environment. Provide direct
patient care under the supervision of nursing staff. Record patient
vital signs and report any significant changes to the nursing
staff. Assist in the daily activities of the patients like eating,
bathing, and dressing. Ensure that all healthcare regulations and
safety standards are adhered to. Maintain a clean and safe
environment for the patients. Communicate regularly with patients
and their families, offering emotional support and information
about patient conditions. Strong interpersonal and communication
skills. Ability to perform tasks with attention to personal, as
well as others’ safety and comfort. Basic knowledge of patient
health care and hygiene standards. Physical ability to lift and
support the weight of patients. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Valid CNA certification. CPR or BLS certification
recommended.
