Job Description:
Pine Acres Rehabilitation and Living Center is seeking a
dedicated and experienced Unit Manager to lead our healthcare team
in delivering exceptional rehabilitation services and skilled
nursing care. The Unit Manager will oversee daily operations within
their designated unit, ensuring all patients receive the highest
standard of care. This role is pivotal in maintaining our ethos of
focusing on patient-centered rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and
wellness. The successful candidate will coordinate with
multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes, manage
staffing needs, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
and standards. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the
healthcare unit. Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other
healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care. Develop
and implement policies that improve service quality and efficiency.
Monitor patient care for quality assurance and adherence to
compliance regulations. Manage budgeting and resource allocation
within the unit. Lead and mentor nursing staff, fostering a
collaborative and efficient workplace. Evaluate staff performance
and organize training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Strong leadership and organizational skills. Effective
communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in healthcare
management systems and patient care software. Ability to work under
pressure in a fast-paced environment. Experience in budget
management and resource allocation. Knowledge of healthcare
regulations and standards. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Current registered nurse (RN) license.
Certification in healthcare management (e.g., Certified
Professional in Healthcare Management - CPHM or similar).
