Job Description:

PowerBack Rehabilitation, a leader in post-hospital care, is looking for a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role involves working closely with physical therapists to implement rehabilitation programs that help patients recover and regain independence following surgery, injuries, or illnesses. The ideal candidate will assist in exercise instruction, the application of therapeutic techniques, and track patient progress, all while maintaining a compassionate and supportive environment. Assist physical therapists in the development and application of rehabilitation programs. Demonstrate and assist patients with therapeutic exercises. Document patient responses and progress. Maintain equipment and treatment areas. Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members. Adhere to safety and health regulations. Strong knowledge of therapy and rehabilitation principles Ability to operate and maintain therapy equipment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong observational and analytical skills Ability to follow detailed instructions and multitask effectively Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA) required. CPR certification preferred.
