Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit Level III for a travel nursing job in Bronx, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/29/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n RN - ICU /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM /n• Minimum of 34.5 hours guaranteed per week /n• 13-week assignment duration /n• Every other weekend and holidays as needed /n• Required to float to IMCU as needed /n• Must wear royal blue scrubs /n• 3 years ICU experience required /n• BSN or higher degree from accredited nursing school required /n• New York State RN license required /n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, De-escalation certification /n• Preferred certifications: CCRN and TNCC /n• Manage patients with EVD, multiple medication drips, and Hemosphere Flotrac /n• Care for trauma patients of varying severities /n• Perform assessments using CAM, CPOT, and RASS /n• Provide care for patients with hypothermia treatment /n• Manage pleurevac chest tube drainage systems /n• Utilize Allscript EMR system /n• Operate PCA pumps /n• Maintain strict isolation precautions and hand hygiene protocols /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive critical care unit providing advanced medical services to critically ill patients.
