Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is
seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator for University Human
Resources. Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Creates, manages, and maintains job postings via Applicant Tracking
System. Serves as the liaison between management, staff, and
applicants regarding employment policies, practices, and
procedures. Provides guidance and direction to hiring managers and
administrative staff in the handling of staffing transactions,
including process and timing, documentation, approval,
implementation and communication. Screens and evaluates candidates;
checking references; and making recommendations to hiring
authorities in accordance with relevant University policies and
collective bargaining agreements. Provides customer service to job
seekers via phone, and e-mail the employment process and system.
Strives to continuously offer excellence in service with the goal
to make Rutgers University an employer of choice. Researches system
questions/issues, documents and determines solutions, and provides
administrative support to the Talent Acquisition and Staffing team.

Human Resources or related field. Two years of experience in talent
acquisition, recruitment, staffing, and onboarding including
compliance with applicable federal and state employment laws.
Experience in higher education. Experience in a labor
environment.
