Job Description:
Onsite US IT Support Engineer
Job PurposeResponsible for Managing a Global IT team for providing
comprehensive technical support to end-users in professional
recruitment industries. Creative and Energetic IT Support Engineer
with Broad- Based experience in hardware and software
installations, configurations and Maintenance. Ability to
successfully analyze an organization's critical support
requirements, identify deficiencies and opportunities and develop
solutions for increasing reliability and improving productivity.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide first and second line technical support via phone,
email or in person.
- Good understanding of ITIL process (Incident, Problem, Change,
Knowledge Management and Service Asset Configuration
Management.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft OS like Windows 10 and Windows
11 and understanding of the windows software installation process
is essential.
- Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot for printers,
computer hardware and any other authorized peripheral
equipment
- Assist in the delivery of Service Asset and Configuration
Management, process and supporting tools.
- Performs general preventative maintenance tasks on computers,
laptops, printers and any other authorized peripheral
equipment
- Manages IT inventories and IT stock using SharePoint, including
keeping detailed records of inventory use and sales, and advising
management on ordering where necessary.
- Understanding of Active directories, Group policies and
Microsoft Office 365
- Support of mobile telephony devices and tablets, including
Apple, Android and Microsoft operating systems
- Support of VOIP telephony systemUnderstanding of DHCP
Management
- An understanding of TCP/IP network environment is
essential.Vendor Management for Procuring IT Materials like Laptop,
Monitors, Printers and other IT Peripherals.
- Basic Knowledge of QB (or any accounting software for
server-client management module)
- Troubleshooting network connectivity in a LAN/WAN environment
QualificationsCollege Diploma or University Degree in the field of
computer science and/or 4 years' equivalent work
experience.Industry certifications, this can include MCP, ITIL, N+,
CCNA etc. Required Skills and abilities:
- Good understanding of the Windows operating systems especially
Windows 10 and 11
- Excellent technical knowledge of pcs and desktop hardware.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
- Understanding of the window software installation process is
essential
- Understanding of Microsoft networking environment is
essential.
- Good working knowledge of Active directories and Group
policies.
- Good understanding of VOIP telephony Systems
- Microsoft Server operating systems especially Microsoft Server

*This hire MUST be local to Union, NJ. This will be a remote/onsite
model.
