Job Description:
Exelon Corporation, a leader in sustainable energy, is seeking a
skillful Sr. Systems Engineer II to join our IT & Cybersecurity
team. Based in our Chicago office, this role is integral to
maintaining and enhancing our complex and diverse systems
architecture across various energy generation forms. As a Sr.
Systems Engineer II, you will develop solutions to optimize our
operational technology systems, ensuring security, efficiency, and
compliance with industry standards. You will play a critical role
in projects that align with our mission of sustainable and
innovative energy solutions for our millions of customers. Design,
implement, and maintain secure and efficient system architectures
across energy generation and distribution networks. Collaborate on
cross-functional teams to identify system needs, vulnerabilities,
and innovative solutions. Conduct regular system audits and
recommend enhancements to improve performance, security, and
reliability. Lead technical briefings and project meetings with
stakeholders to align system engineering efforts with strategic
objectives. Manage the deployment of infrastructure services and
the integration of new technological advancements and regulatory
requirements into existing systems. Expertise in systems
architecture within the energy sector Strong analytical and
problem-solving abilities Experience with cybersecurity in critical
infrastructure environments Proficiency in regulatory compliance
and standards (NIST, ISO/IEC 27001) Project management skills and
experience with Agile methodologies Medical Insurance Dental
