Job Description Job Description Benefits: 401(k) Competitive salary Health insurance Paid time off Profit sharing Vision insurance Job Title: CDL Truck Driver Date: 12/23/25 Reports to: Operations Manager- Folcroft, PA Job Summary: We are a construction supply and delivery company seeking a delivery driver to deliver building materials to job sites. As a delivery driver, you will ensure the safety of each delivery from the moment you leave the facility until you have completed each job. We offer a positive work environment that gets our drivers home every day (no overnights). Positions are available in both our Folcroft, PA, and Dover, DE, locations. Qualifications: Commercial Driving: 1 year (preferred) Driving: 3 years (preferred) CDL B (preferred) Duties and Responsibilities: Transport and deliver freight over the road in a safe, efficient, timely and legal manner. Secure freight; tarp and un-tarp freight if operating flatbeds. Complete all necessary paperwork and maintain records required under state and federal laws and regulations. Ensure that all operations are in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. Operates company vehicles in a safe manner, being aware of not causing damage to driveways, buildings, or other areas of job sites. Following route directions and unloading material where assigned. Perform routine inspection and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects/repairs to Company personnel. Perform lifting, pulling, pushing and carrying freight. Working with customers in determining where to set the materials, and physically unloading the materials Represent the Company in a professional manner in all interactions with customers and company personnel. Consistently works in a safe, non-violent and courteous manner Completes other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must have a high school diploma or equivalency; Must have at least a CDL Class B license Knowledge of all applicable DOT Regulations and Motor Carrier Safety Regulations Meet all standards (medical, safety, etc.) required by the DOT and pass required pre-employment and random drug/alcohol test Acceptable background investigation results. Solid written and verbal communication skills Physical and Special Requirements: Able to squat, crouch and reach as needed to handle freight; able to enter and exit the vehicles cab numerous times each day Able to lift and carry freight weighing up to 80 pounds on a daily basis Able to handle, install and remove freight and/or special equipment weighing up to 80 pounds including chains, straps, tarps, tiedowns, etc. Able to pass a drug test (randomly, and upon hire) Must be able to work in severe weather conditionsboth heat and cold Boom truck experience is not required, but is a plus May include occasional travel to multiple Edgemont Stone & Supply Co. location(s) (e.g. Folcroft, PA; Dover, DE) for training, delivery, or other purposes Edgemont Stone & Supply Co.is an equal opportunity employer.
