Recently opened in March 2021, Insp--r Carnegie Hill is located on the Upper East Side and stands 23 stories with 215 residential units.   • Flexible shifts, and moreThe Resident Experience Coordinator Role: Provide diversified programs through individual and group activities enabling each resident to engage in cultural, spiritual, physical, political, social, and intellectual programs and events. Accountable for all programs offered meeting the needs, skill levels, and interests of all the residents at Insp--r.
    • Provide outstanding customer service to all residents and visitors of residents in the community
    • Facilitate socialization among residents
    • Invite and/or cue residents to participate in planned activities
    • Conduct/lead majority of programs
    • Be flexible in work schedule to accommodate special events and evening/weekend programs
    • Assists with the implementation of special events
    • Assists with family functions and events
    • Identify supplies needed for planned experienced
    • Participate in on-going in-service and training requirements.
    • Follow emergency procedures
    • Understand the safety practices and procedures.
    • Carries out other duties as assigned by supervisor Education/Experience/Licensure/Requirements:
      • High School diploma or equivalent required
      • Experience in activity planning with seniors preferred
      • Experience and passion in working with seniors
      • Demonstrated organizational skills and creativity
      • Must be mature with a friendly and cheerful personality
      • Able to convey and understand information and ideas in English
      • Be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
      • Work well in stressful, high pressure situations and be able to maintain composure and objectivity
      • Be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by residents and guests
      • Able to maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, peers, and other staff members.
