We are looking for people who have potential and share our passion to live the Markel Style, which is described in more detail below.If you think you have these core attributes we want to hear from you.Job Summary:The Field Onsite Representative is responsible for working under minimal supervision at the client's site and requires effective communication with clients, borrowers, agents and/or insurance companies to carry out assigned duties. This position serves as the liaison between SNC and client by providing excellent customer service and support while building and maintaining client trust, thereby helping to ensure customer retention. Incumbents in this position will identify, address and resolve issues in all service areas including but not limited to Claims and Collections.Essential Functions:Provide insurance tracking for client while ensuring compliance with tracking specifics in order to keep notice and policy production within guidelines.Develop and maintain good working relationships with client by listening to and understanding the client's needs through daily communication in order to meet or exceed customer service standards.Responsible for working and submitting extract reports, educating the client on specific processes and reports, and communicating with account to obtain supporting documentation in order to verify loan, member, and collateral information.Review all notices and reports prior to distribution and accurately process premium refunds on CPI policies.Responsible for timely and accurate collection of all premiums produced.Perform data entry of insurance documents to a proprietary legacy computer system.Must perform within strict guidelines and standards of productivity and quality as efficiency and accuracy are continually monitored Take direction, prioritize and recognize tasks with minimal supervisionReceive detailed information through oral and/or written communication and make sound determinations in keeping with overall Company business goalsCommunicate effectively with clients, borrowers, agents and/or insurance companies as neededMaintain a high level of professionalism with clients, both internal and externalAdditional Responsibilities: Research, initiation and follow up on CPI and other 3rd party carrier claimsPerform other tasks or projects as needed or required by clientComplete outbound insurance confirmations for home account and for the Contact Center as assigned or as time permitsAccess to confidential information, both internal and external.Valid driver's license with a good driving recordAbility to travel to Fort Worth, Texas for two weeks of initial trainingKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:Minimum 10,000 ksph data entry skillsGood attention to detailStrong customer service skillsGood decision making and problem solving skillsAbility to take initiative and be accountableAbility to build relationships with clients and internal staffAbility to work alone without supervisionMust be able to demonstrate a high level of professionalismKnowledge of basic computer hardware and software applicationsGeneral knowledge of the insurance and/or banking industry preferredEducation/ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent required3 to 5 years of general office experience required"Why work for us?"Diversity and inclusionMarkel is truly a global and diverse company.
