Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Estimator to join our growing team. This role is critical in preparing accurate, timely, and competitive proposals for complex remediation, civil, field service, and industrial service projects. Key Responsibilities

- Develop comprehensive technical proposals, including scope, cost estimates, and schedules.

- Prepare detailed construction documentation: work plans, submittals, health & safety plans.

- Assemble professional bid packages and ensure quality and compliance.

- Conduct construction and civil drawing reviews and accurate estimating take-offs.

- Calculate final project quantities: earthwork, trench lengths, backfill, tank volumes, etc.

- Utilize industry-standard volume estimation software/tools.

- Attend site visits, bid walks, and interpret technical bid documents.

- Understand and interpret contracts, specs, and regulatory compliance requirements.

- Analyze financial implications of project estimates, including P&L, margins, and budgets.

- Coordinate and negotiate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.

- Maintain strong client relationships and represent the company in a professional manner.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams during bidding and project handoffs.

- Comply with all company SOPs and safety regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT, DEP).


Qualifications

- Strong background in environmental remediation, excavation, and facility closures (UST/AST).

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

- Skilled in Microsoft Project for schedule development and management.

- Solid understanding of regulatory standards (OSHA, DOT, DEP, EPA).

- Experience in managing vendors, subcontractors, and supplier negotiations.

- Ability to interpret and create technical drawings and estimate
